Meta has launched Meta One, a subscription service that offers additional features and higher usage of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI.
Meta said more than 50 features are available across its apps and that it has recorded 15 million subscriptions and trials to date.
Meta One builds on single-product plans including Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, which Meta launched earlier this year. Meta said those plans are seeing strong retention, while its new Core and Premium bundles combine features from the individual plans with additional access to some of its more compute-intensive AI capabilities.
Meta said the core experience across its apps and everyday use of Meta AI will remain free. The paid plans add higher AI usage, customisation features, and professional tools for individual users, creators, and businesses.
Meta One includes Core and Premium plans for users who want greater access to the company's AI features. According to Meta, these plans offer more image and video generation with Meta AI, as well as increased use of AI tools such as Restyle on Instagram.
Meta said more than half of subscribers in early testing used both AI and expression features in the bundled plans. The company said Restyle and voice effects on Instagram were among the top reasons people subscribed during the test.
The individual plans include Instagram Plus at ₹99 a month, WhatsApp Plus at ₹79, and Facebook Plus at ₹99. Core costs ₹549 a month, while Premium costs ₹1,960 a month.
Meta One also includes plans for creators and businesses. Meta said these plans offer tools for managing profiles, reaching audiences and responding to customers through Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp.
The creator and business plans include an enhanced profile that can showcase a website, locations and what people say about a business or creator. Meta also offers a bold follow button on Reels and automatic follow invitations for people who engage with content.
The Essential plan starts at ₹639 a month and includes an enhanced profile, a verified badge, impersonation protection pending successful verification, a verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app, and greater access to Meta Business Agent.
Advanced starts at ₹2,099 a month and adds scheduled Stories, links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, and deeper audience insights. Meta said it also allows businesses to give team members access without sharing a password, while providing more linked devices and business broadcast credits on WhatsApp.
Meta said Expert starts at ₹6,399 a month and Max at ₹20,990 a month. These plans provide higher levels of feature access and Meta Business Agent capacity for teams managing accounts at scale.
Meta said it will soon bring Edits Plus to Meta One. The plan will offer more cloud storage to sync and access projects across devices, along with additional use of an upcoming Edits assistant that can analyse Instagram insights and help brainstorm new ideas.
Meta said Meta One plans are available globally, but pricing, features and availability can vary by region, app and account. The company said it will expand Meta One to Edits, AI glasses and more over time.
