Telangana has inaugurated a new integrated oncology manufacturing facility of Ciro Pharma at Biotech Park Phase III in Karakapatla, Siddipet, to strengthen its life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem.
Established with an investment of ₹800 crore ($84 million), the facility will manufacture advanced oncology medicines, including oral formulations, sterile injectables, lyophilised powder injections, and soft gel capsules. The project is expected to generate around 500 direct employment opportunities while enhancing Telangana's manufacturing capabilities in high-value pharmaceutical products.
The inauguration aligns with Telangana's broader strategy to position itself as a leading destination for pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology research, AI-enabled healthcare innovation, and sustainable pharmaceutical production. The government has been actively promoting investments across the life sciences sector to drive economic growth while creating skilled employment opportunities.
