Tredence, a global data science and AI solutions firm, has announced an expansion of its India operations with the launch of a new 20,000 sq. ft. delivery and innovation centre in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.

The expansion was announced at BioAsia 2026, underscoring the company’s growing focus on building AI-led capabilities from Telangana to serve life sciences, healthcare, retail and CPG clients.

The new facility strengthens Tredence’s presence in Hyderabad, leveraging the state’s strong GCC, pharmaceutical and AI talent ecosystem.

Tredence currently employs over 400 professionals in Telangana and plans a sharp ramp-up, targeting a workforce of more than 2,200 employees by 2027. The hiring roadmap includes adding around 700 roles in 2026, followed by another 1,100 positions in 2027.

The company said the expansion reflects its long-term bet on Telangana as a core hub for enterprise AI delivery, supported by the state’s pharmaceutical depth and its emergence as a preferred destination for global capability centres.

“Hyderabad has become India’s life sciences powerhouse and a top-tier destination for GCCs. Our expansion announcement represents a strategic investment in the city’s robust data and AI talent landscape and its rapidly evolving retail, CPG and consumer GCC ecosystem,” Sumit Mehra, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder, Tredence said.

“The expansion of Tredence in Hyderabad underscores the powerful synergy between global innovation and Telangana’s pro-growth policies. Our State continues to provide the ideal bedrock for data-driven enterprises to scale. Tredence’s commitment to Telangana aligns completely with our ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision,” D. Sridhar Babu, Minister of IT, Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana said.

The Hyderabad centre is expected to play a central role in Tredence’s enterprise AI initiatives, supporting advanced analytics, generative AI and applied AI programmes.

Designed to enable closer collaboration with global clients, the facility will help teams accelerate the journey from ideas to production-ready AI solutions tailored to specific industry needs. The company also plans to deepen engagement with local academic institutions to support talent development and reinforce Hyderabad’s position as a long-term technology hub.

The announcement follows Tredence’s recent expansions in Kolkata and Pune. With a global workforce of over 4,200 professionals, the company continues to focus on solving last-mile challenges in AI by bridging the gap between data insights and tangible business outcomes.
