WazirX on August 24 announced the launch of WazirX AI, an AI-powered trading co-pilot that lets users research crypto markets, analyse their portfolios and prepare or execute trades through a single conversational interface.

The company said the tool is designed to reduce the time traders spend switching between charts, news feeds, signal groups and trading screens, with the entire research-to-trade workflow potentially completed in under 10 minutes.

“WazirX AI combines market research, portfolio monitoring and trade preparation into one conversation, reducing the time and effort required to evaluate an opportunity and act on it. The AI streamlines the workflow and enables a faster and easier decision-making process,” said Nischal Shetty, Founder, WazirX.

The AI agent is integrated into the WazirX app and website and follows an ‘Ask-Understand-Decide’ model. It coordinates market data, technical analysis, portfolio information and order management across multi-step requests, allowing users to move from identifying an opportunity to making a trading decision within the same conversation.

Users can ask WazirX AI about live prices, market news and macroeconomic developments, with the assistant providing summaries and supporting charts. It can also generate live portfolio briefings covering portfolio value, profit and loss and open positions, including daily morning updates.

The assistant can prepare trades directly within the chat. Before placing an order, WazirX AI displays an approval card and can recommend position sizes based on a user’s risk preferences. It supports both spot and futures trading, including limit and market orders, short positions and pair-specific leverage limits.

Users can also set alerts using natural-language instructions.

The company said the tool can also handle more complex workflows.

A user could ask WazirX AI to screen INR futures for four-hour momentum, filter opportunities based on a specified risk-reward threshold, validate the shortlist across multiple timeframes and prepare an order containing the entry price, leverage, margin, stop-loss, take-profit and estimated loss.

Alongside the AI co-pilot, WazirX is launching a Paper Trading Sandbox, giving every user a simulated $100,000 balance. The sandbox allows users to test the research-to-trade workflow and experiment with strategies without using real funds.

WazirX said WazirX AI uses live WazirX price data and supports real-time price updates. The product has been rolled out across Android, iOS and Web, while the $100,000 paper-trading sandbox is available to all users.

The launch marks a shift towards conversational interfaces for crypto trading, bringing market research, portfolio monitoring, risk assessment and trade preparation into a single workflow rather than requiring traders to do each task separately.
