Happiest Minds Technologies, IT Consulting and Services company, today inaugurated a new development centre at Bhubaneswar. The development comes as part of its long-term investment plans for expanding its presence.

The new software development centre is set up under the ease of business initiative aligned with the ‘Make in Odisha’ focus of the state government. The company invested INR 265 crores towards the initiative.
Venkatraman Narayanan, MD & CFO at Happiest Minds Technologies, cited industry-supporting initiatives of the state government and the growing talent pool available in the city to be the reasons for choosing Bhubaneswar as their new development centre.
The company is headquartered in Bangalore and operates in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.
The new infrastructure continues the trend of IT spending concentrating towards Tier-II cities, leveraging the workforce available in the regions. Recently, Tech Mahindra, in partnership with T-systems, planned on building a new delivery centre in Nagpur, producing an employment opportunity for 6000 people.
