Sachin Chawla

Over the course of the past year, Sachin Chawla expanded MongoDB’s leadership across India, ASEAN and Japan while accelerating the company’s enterprise AI strategy. With him leading the region, MongoDB strengthened its AI application platform through Atlas Vector Search, retrieval capabilities and developer tooling that enables enterprises to build production-ready AI applications using their own operational data. 

Moreover, he expanded MongoDB’s engagement with the developer community through MongoDB.local events and strategic partnerships across the region. 

Chawla has often maintained that enterprise AI success will be determined by data quality rather than model choice. Through the year, he has advocated for architectures that bring operational databases, vector search and AI applications together on a single platform, enabling organisations to move beyond prototypes and deploy trusted AI systems at scale. His focus has been on making enterprise data AI-ready while reducing the complexity of production deployments.
