Siddharth Panwar is helping position India at the forefront of AI for neuroscience through NeuroDx. 

Over the past year, he co-led the launch of MANAS-1, India's first native brain foundation model, developed under the IndiaAI Mission to analyse brain signals and support the early diagnosis of neurological disorders. Built on Indian clinical data, the model has demonstrated strong performance in identifying biomarkers for conditions such as epilepsy and other neurological disorders, advancing the use of AI in healthcare.

Under his leadership, NeuroDx is building a new generation of biosignal foundation models that combine artificial intelligence with neuroscience to improve clinical decision-making and expand access to affordable, non-invasive diagnostics. The company is also developing larger foundation models for EEG analysis, laying the groundwork for future applications in neurological screening and brain-computer interfaces.

Panwar believes India's greatest AI opportunity lies in building sovereign, domain-specific foundation models that combine world-class research with real-world impact, enabling the country to lead in high-value scientific AI.
