Vijayant Rai

Vijayant Rai has led Snowflake India’s efforts to help enterprises move from generative AI experimentation to production-scale deployments that deliver measurable business outcomes. Over the past year, he has focused on enabling organisations to build robust data foundations that support AI adoption while improving operational efficiency and return on investment.

A strong advocate of agentic AI, Rai has worked with enterprises to develop autonomous, data-driven AI systems that go beyond conversational applications and create real business value. He has also championed AI talent development through the launch of the ‘One Million Minds + One Platform’ initiative with NASSCOM, a large-scale skilling programme aimed at preparing India’s workforce for the data and AI economy.

Rai believes India’s AI landscape is undergoing a fundamental transition from generative AI experimentation to agentic AI execution. In his view, enterprises that successfully combine trusted data with autonomous AI systems will drive the next phase of innovation and contribute to India’s vision of Viksit Bharat.
