Vishal Dhupar

Vishal Dhupar has played a key role in advancing India’s AI ecosystem by helping build the infrastructure and partnerships needed for AI at scale. Over the past year, he has led NVIDIA’s efforts to accelerate India’s transition from AI experimentation to production, enabling enterprises, startups, researchers, and public institutions with access to advanced AI computing infrastructure and software.

Since he took over, NVIDIA has strengthened collaborations across industry, academia, and government to support sovereign AI initiatives, empower developers building Indic AI models, and nurture India’s deep-tech startup ecosystem. These efforts have contributed to expanding AI adoption while laying the foundation for large-scale AI innovation built within the country.

Dhupar believes India has entered a new phase in its AI journey. Rather than simply adopting global AI technologies, he sees the country building sovereign, scalable AI capabilities designed for India’s unique requirements and capable of driving innovation at both national and global scale.
