Spyne Launches AI-based DIY Photoshoot App To Click Professional Photos

Gurugram-based Spyne launched an AI-based DIY Photoshoot app called SpyneCliq, which will enable sellers to execute their own commercial product shoots using a smartphone. The DIY app will be especially useful for SMEs, which, due to the lack of resources, fail to get professional product photography done.

The startup believes that for selling products on portals like Amazon and Flipkart, businesses need professionally shot product imagery so that they can leave an everlasting brand impression and generate higher sales. SpyneCliq’s step-by-step guided flow will help sellers click perfect images of their products such as footwear, fashion accessories, home decor items, furniture, kitchenware, stationery, and multiple other categories easily.

Spyne, which was founded by Sanjay Kumar and Deepti Prasad has become a go-to place for carrying business shoots across industries, and extensively uses AI and computer vision for tasks such as editing.

Spyne’s AI-based Image Editing Technology processes those pictures and delivers high-quality edited images right on the app. In an interaction with AIM, Sanjay had shared that they have built specific AI algorithms to edit pictures. It solves independent problems and creates a comprehensive application stitching independent actions to produce an output that is very close to the final output. They also use computer vision to curate millions of photos and quality checking the images.

The app is currently Live on Google Playstore in the beta testing phase for categories such as footwear, F&B, Grocery, Home and furniture, etc. The team is working on next-level AI editing technologies to offer automated bulk editing solutions for the fashion and lifestyle industry where thousands of images can be auto processed for background manipulations, garment and face retouching, image resizing, adding product colour variants, mannequin to model technologies etc. to solve the use cases of the fashion lifestyle industry in particular.

Spyne believes that this DIY Photoshoot App and the AI-Integrated Image Editing technology is going to revolutionise the entire Commercial Photography Industry by helping businesses create affordable content for Branding, Marketing and most importantly, Listings on eCommerce Sites anywhere, anytime.

Spyne had raised seed funding last year lead by Smile group and other angel investors.
