The programme is organised by the Department of Statistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It focuses on data analysis skills and explores core areas of applied and business statistics. This is a part-time taught programme that is based primarily on coursework. Students must complete a minimum of 8 electives. The aim of the proposed Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) programme is to provide graduate students with robust training in analytics skills. In addition, the MSA programme will be a pioneering effort in graduate level cohort-based learning in Singapore in line with the Blue Ribbon Committee (BRC) recommendations at NTU. The programme is interdisciplinary and will involve faculty from the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, School of Computer Engineering, and Nanyang Business School.

The MSA is an intensive 1-year programme by course work, which provides solid foundations in statistics, optimization, and data analysis, as well as exposure to software systems, practical applications, and case studies. The programme aims to attract both fresh graduates and working adults who have degrees in quantitative majors in science and engineering.

National University of Singapore – Master of Science in Business Analytics, Singapore

National University of Singapore (NUS) has established a Business Analytics Centre (BAC) to support the development of Business Analytics (BA) professionals and experts. BAC is jointly hosted by a unique partnership between two globally ranked schools – the NUS Business School and the NUS School of Computing – and the global IT giant IBM; it offers a degree programme in Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) to address the acute global talent shortage of trained Business Analytics experts.

Novosibirsk State University, MS in Big Data Analytics, Russia

The Program “Big Data Analytics” provides participation both foreign students and graduates of the Russian higher education institutions.

The program candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. The University offers help with the validation of the diploma for the Russian education system. An applicant receives a personal conditional offer upon successful evaluation of the application package.
