What artificial intelligence (AI) was from the late-90s until the last decade, Metaverse is for now. However, Metaverse is not just a buzzword anymore. With Facebook Inc. making it a milestone by changing its name to Meta and other tech companies too like NVIDIA are making bold statements about the parallel virtual universe. It is the internet’s next big thing.
Metaverse is nothing but the conglomeration of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) to bring into life a virtual ecosystem that can be accessed through the internet. And with new developments in the field of technology comes newer opportunities. Developers, engineers and innovators across the globe are working towards figuring out the right means and skill-sets to make it big in what Mark Zuckerberg calls the ‘New North Star.’
While Metaverse is still in its nascent stage, this intersection of AI, VR, gaming, blockchain, 5G, and augmented reality (AR) promises opportunities to help individuals find the land of their dreams.

Blockchain engineers are individuals who help in the implementation and creation of digital blockchain for enterprises. They ideally have to work on blockchain platforms to design, implement, test, deploy, and manage software systems. They should have good knowledge of programming tools and an understanding of decentralised ecosystems. They would have to collaborate with software engineers and help them develop and deploy softwares.
Blockchain engineers should have experience scaling hybrid systems, contract deployment and maintenance, and some experience with architecture and design of blockchain solutions. At present, the NFT platform Autograph is looking for a blockchain engineer. Blockchain builder company Dapper Labs also has an opening for a Senior Blockchain Engineer.
