Accenture and Google Cloud have launched a new business group to help enterprises deploy and scale Gemini Enterprise, with plans to establish a 1,000-person forward-deployed engineer (FDE) workforce.
The Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group will bring together Accenture’s Gemini Enterprise-certified professionals, FDEs, Google Cloud engineering talent, and industry expertise.
The group will operate across the Gemini Enterprise portfolio and focus on implementation, industry-specific solutions, enterprise-scale deployments, and user adoption.
“The Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group will help clients achieve these outcomes faster, bringing together the talent, advanced AI and data capabilities, and industry expertise needed to reinvent with confidence and create value at scale,” Accenture Chair and CEO Julie Sweet said in a statement.
The group builds on Accenture’s nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-skilled professionals. It will expand Gemini Enterprise training and certification while creating the 1,000-person FDE workforce to support enterprise deployments.
“Deploying agentic AI is a top priority for enterprises today, and the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group significantly expands the expertise and resources available to help our customers deliver real business value,” Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian added.
The group will focus on four areas: increasing Gemini Enterprise adoption through implementation frameworks and accelerators, developing industry-specific solutions, supporting the transition from AI experimentation to enterprise deployments, and driving adoption of AI capabilities among users.
The new group builds on the companies’ joint Generative and Agentic AI Centre of Excellence and the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Programme.
