Eros Innovation has launched its new Cultural AI Platform, which the company describes as the world’s first artificial intelligence ecosystem designed to understand and preserve culture across multiple languages.
The platform was first introduced at the IndiaAI Impact Summit in February 2026 and is now available in 34 global languages. It is powered by two key technologies, Eros LCVM (Large Cultural Voice Model) and Eros Persona AI.
According to the company, the platform goes beyond traditional AI systems that mainly focus on generating text or language. It has been designed to understand cultural context, emotional expression, and identity while generating content.
The company added that the technology has been trained using a rights-cleared dataset of more than 11,000 films and over 100,000 fictional characters. The platform can generate multilingual voice performances, storytelling content, and digital character interactions while maintaining cultural authenticity.
The Cultural AI Platform consists of five layers: Eros LCM, which focuses on cultural intelligence and storytelling; Eros LCVM for multilingual voice and performance generation; Eros Persona AI for creating digital identities; Eros Creator, a toolset for creators and businesses; and Eros Universe, the consumer-facing platform where users can interact with AI-generated characters.
The company clarified that all AI-generated personas are fictional and do not replicate real actors, performers, or public figures.
Speaking on the launch, Ridhima Lulla, Co-founder and Co-President of Eros Innovation, said, “The platform was developed after years of research into creating AI systems that understand culture in addition to language.”
“The technology supports India’s efforts to build sovereign AI capabilities. LCVM as the voice layer that enables cultural intelligence to be delivered across 34 languages,” added Founder and Chairman Kishore Lulla.
S Krishnan, Secretary at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), noted that India has an opportunity to lead in developing AI systems that understand culture, identity, and context. He added that preserving linguistic diversity and cultural heritage will become increasingly important as AI technologies continue to evolve.
The platform is currently live while its first consumer-focused product is expected to be launched next week.
