Hexaware Technologies has launched Tensai for Reasoning Ops, an agentic AI platform designed for enterprise IT operations, as the mid-tier IT services company looks to deepen its artificial intelligence offerings for infrastructure management.
The platform, now generally available to mid-to-large enterprises, deploys AI agents that analyse live operational signals, enterprise data and system dependencies to recommend evidence-backed actions.
Human operators remain responsible for validating and executing the recommendations, the company said.
The launch comes as IT services companies increasingly embed generative and agentic AI capabilities into managed services and IT operations, aiming to automate routine tasks, improve service quality and reduce operational costs.
According to Hexaware, the platform is designed to move enterprises beyond traditional automation based on scripts and predefined workflows by enabling AI agents to reason across operational signals, configuration data, change records and infrastructure dependencies before making recommendations.
The company said the system follows an evidence-first approach, where actions are recommended only when supported by operational context and policy checks.
Hexaware said the platform is benchmarked against customers’ pre-AI operating baselines and is expected to deliver 25-40% faster mean time to resolution, reduce manual intervention by 35-45%, lower cost-to-serve by 10-18%, improve service-level agreement performance and user experience by 10-20%, and reduce incident demand by 5-12%.
It added that actual outcomes will vary depending on customer environments and will be validated using customer-specific scorecards.
“With Tensai for Reasoning Ops, we’re helping enterprises move from reactive support to more autonomous, self-healing IT operations. The platform brings reasoning, evidence, and governance into operational decisions, helping clients reduce manual intervention, improve SLA reliability, and build a stronger path toward preventive operations,” R Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director, Hexaware, said in a statement.
