In a move aimed at strengthening Kerala’s position in India’s rapidly growing global capability centre (GCC) landscape, the Kerala government, through Infoparks Kerala, has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Inductus Group, a global GCC enabler and IT consulting firm.
The agreement was signed by Susanth Kurunthil, CEO of Infoparks Kerala, and Alouk Kumar, Founder and CEO of Inductus Group, as part of the state’s broader strategy to attract multinational corporations looking to establish development centres, innovation hubs, and global capability centres in India.
The partnership follows discussions led by Seeram Sambasiva Rao, IAS, Special Secretary (Electronics & IT), Kerala government, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Infoparks Kerala, aimed at showcasing Kerala’s competitive advantages to global enterprises and increasing the state’s visibility as an investment destination.
Under the collaboration, Infoparks Kerala and Inductus Group will work together to promote Kerala’s strengths in talent availability, digital infrastructure, innovation capabilities, and quality of life to multinational companies evaluating locations for global operations.
Commenting on the partnership, Kumar said, “Kerala possesses many of the attributes that global organisations increasingly seek while evaluating locations for their GCCs, including a highly skilled workforce, strong educational infrastructures and foundations, digital readiness, and a supportive business environment. Through this partnership with Infoparks Kerala, we look forward to strengthening awareness about the state's capabilities and enabling meaningful engagement between global enterprises and Kerala’s vast, evolving and growing tech ecosystem.”
The agreement comes at a time when the GCC sector is evolving beyond traditional shared services into centres focused on innovation, research and development, digital transformation, AI, engineering, and advanced technology functions. As enterprises seek alternative destinations beyond established hubs, Kerala is positioning itself as an emerging location capable of supporting future-ready business operations.
The state is banking on its strong literacy rates, expanding technology ecosystem, growing digital infrastructure, and skilled workforce to attract both large multinational corporations and mid-market global enterprises. The initiative also aligns with India’s broader ambition of strengthening its position as the world's leading GCC destination.
By combining Infoparks Kerala’s institutional and ecosystem-building capabilities with Inductus Group’s expertise in GCC advisory, investment facilitation, and enterprise engagement, the partnership aims to accelerate knowledge economy growth and attract innovation-led investments to the state.
The collaboration is expected to support Kerala’s efforts to expand its technology footprint, create high-value employment opportunities, and establish itself as a competitive alternative in India’s evolving GCC ecosystem.
