Keysight Technologies has joined the Siemens Digital Industries Software Solution Partner Program as a software and technology partner. The move will allow manufacturers using Siemens’ Teamcenter software to access Keysight Eggplant Test, an AI-based test automation tool designed to validate digital engineering and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems before deployment.

The partnership aims to address testing challenges faced by manufacturers as software-driven products grow more complex. Companies increasingly rely on PLM platforms to manage engineering workflows, but manual testing often slows development and creates inconsistencies, according to Keysight.

Gareth Smith, Software Quality Engineering General Manager at Keysight, said organisations need “a reliable, AI-driven way to validate software before it reaches production” as PLM environments become more complex.

Siemens Digital Industries Software develops tools for engineering, manufacturing and PLM. Under the partnership, customers using Teamcenter will be able to deploy Keysight Eggplant Test to validate enterprise applications, workflow integrations and system performance before systems move into production.

Manufacturers face pressure to shorten development timelines while managing software complexity. Testing PLM workflows and integrations has become harder as companies expand their use of digital engineering systems, as per Keysight.

“Engineers can now reduce the risk of undetected issues when upgrades or integrations are released, maintaining system performance and reliability at every stage of the product lifecycle,” Smith said.

Keysight said the collaboration would help customers reduce risks associated with software upgrades and system integrations while maintaining performance throughout product development.
