Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff believes the company will enter the $50 billion annual revenue range next year.
Benioff said Salesforce had spent 33 years in the “30 billion” revenue range and two years in the “40 billion” range.
“We're entering the 50 billion in revenue next year,” he said in his opening keynote address at Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce’s flagship annual technology conference.
Salesforce reported revenue of $41.5 billion in FY26, up 10% year-over-year, while fourth-quarter revenue rose 12%YoY to $11.2 billion.
Following its second-quarter results, the company raised its fiscal year 2027 revenue guidance to $46.1–46.4 billion.
“We’ve been hearing all this kind of crazy nonsense about the SaaS apocalypse, especially over the last six months,” Benioff said. “SaaS apocalypse was not about the end of software, but it may be about the end of software that makes humans do all the work.”
He linked the shift to Salesforce’s Agentforce and AIforce initiatives, which allow AI agents and conversational interfaces to operate over the company’s existing data, applications, workflows, and business logic.
Benioff also claimed that Salesforce had its “lowest customer attrition ever” and its “longest customer contracts ever”.
The company’s latest earnings update also described attrition as near-record-low and said contract lengths were increasing across customer segments, but did not disclose a new precise attrition rate or average contract duration.
At the event, Salesforce unveiled AIforce, a live interface layer that brings its CRM data, workflows, business logic, permissions, and governance into interfaces such as Claude, Slack, and Lightning.
Employees can query records, update data, and trigger workflows without opening Salesforce’s conventional application interface. Salesforce said requests continue to run through existing permissions and business rules.
The launch includes Claudeforce, which brings Salesforce into Anthropic’s Claude through a prebuilt MCP server and 37 sales skills.
Slackforce adds interactive Salesforce interfaces inside Slack, while Agentforce Coworker provides an AI teammate within Salesforce’s Lightning interface. Salesforce said 100,000 users activated Coworker within its first 35 days.
Salesforce and NVIDIA also announced Koa, Salesforce’s first CRM reasoning model for Agentforce. Koa was built by post-training NVIDIA’s Nemotron 3 Super with a proprietary synthetic dataset modelled on 27 years of Salesforce CRM intelligence.
The dataset covers enterprise processes, workflows, and operational policies across more than 14 industries, without using customer data.
The model is designed to handle multi-step CRM tasks, including generating leads, qualifying opportunities, resolving service cases, updating opportunities, routing cases, and scheduling follow-ups. Salesforce said Koa matched or exceeded leading models on its CRM benchmark while producing three times fewer errors on CRM actions.
Salesforce also announced updates to Agentforce. Agentforce’s new portfolio includes seven role-specific agents for sales, customer service, commerce, employee support, and supply-chain operations.
The company also introduced a long-horizon runtime that allows agents such as Hunter to pursue goals over days or weeks, while using existing business rules and seeking approval where required.
For government and regulated customers, Salesforce is extending NVIDIA models and accelerated computing into Missionforce.
The platform is designed to support specialised AI deployments in private clouds and air-gapped environments.
Missionforce National Security also received IL5 authorisation in August, allowing the US Department of War to use Agentforce 360 for logistics, personnel management and intelligence workflows
