Product engineering company Sasken Technologies has launched a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad to expand its engineering and digital services. The company said the CoE will strengthen its regional delivery network, deepen collaboration with partners such as Qualcomm and other OEMs to support global programmes across industries.
The Hyderabad centre will focus on connected devices, 5G platforms, IoT solutions, embedded systems, and digital product engineering. Sasken said it chose Hyderabad for its technology ecosystem and talent pool. The facility will help teams work closely with customers, reduce development timelines, and improve product delivery.
The company will hire over 100 specialised professionals in the coming months. The hiring will focus on roles in semiconductors, automotive, data science, and engineering.
Nirmala Datla, Chief Data Science and Engineering Officer at Sasken Technologies, will lead the Hyderabad centre. She will oversee delivery, build engineering capabilities, and manage talent development at the site.
“The Hyderabad CoE represents a strategic investment to support the growing demand for Sasken’s capabilities in product engineering and digital transformation,” Datla said in a statement. “Hyderabad’s strong engineering talent ecosystem enables us to scale delivery, deepen customer collaboration, and accelerate innovation and time-to-market for our customers.”
The new centre will support industries such as automotive, smart devices, high technology, satellite communication, and industrial systems. The company said the facility will enable faster engineering cycles and support product development for global clients.
Hareesh Ramanna, Chief Experience Officer at Sasken, said the expansion aligns with the company’s growth plans. “The launch of this CoE strengthens Sasken’s delivery footprint and positions us to support customers with greater speed, scale, and proximity,” he said.
He added that the company will continue to invest in talent and capabilities to support its target segments and maintain growth.
