Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) to support the travel company’s global digital transformation, focusing on modernising technology platforms, strengthening resilience, and enhancing experiences across its worldwide operations.
Flight Centre Travel Group is among the world’s largest travel companies, with a leisure and corporate travel sales network spanning Australia and New Zealand, the Americas, EMEA and Asia.
As part of the partnership, TCS will leverage its expertise in technology, data and artificial intelligence in the travel sector to future-proof FCTG’s cloud and network services, strengthen operational resilience, and modernise service platforms.
The engagement will also focus on streamlining and consolidating core systems, unlocking greater value from existing technology investments, and improving performance across FCTG’s global enterprise technology stack.
Graham Turner, Chief Executive Officer, FCTG, said that strengthening the company’s technology backbone is an ongoing priority.
Krishnan Ramanujam, President of Consumer Business Group, TCS, said, “Together, we are transforming the enterprise technology services of one of Australia’s most iconic travel brands to adopt an AI-first simplified global operating model.”
TCS will support FCTG in developing and executing a strategy to enhance platform standardisation and drive continuous service-level improvements through governance and transparent reporting.
The partnership builds on TCS’ long-standing presence in the travel sector, where it has more than three decades of experience working with leading travel operators across business operations, customer service, supply chains, marketing, pricing strategies, and business model transformation.
TCS has operated in Australia for over 35 years and serves as a digital partner to most of the region’s top 10 listed companies. The company maintains operations across five locations in the country.
Australia, a key market within Asia Pacific, held steady at 8.3% of revenue in Q3 FY26 and recorded sequential and year-on-year growth, according to the company’s disclosure.
This stability contrasts with mixed trends globally—North America remained dominant, Europe was uneven, and India declined sharply—highlighting Asia Pacific’s relative resilience in the company’s portfolio.
