Wipro Limited and Harness have announced a strategic collaboration to help global enterprises accelerate AI-native software delivery with improved speed, reliability, and governance.
San Francisco-based Harness is an AI-native software delivery platform for DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
The partnership comes as enterprises scale their adoption of artificial intelligence but face growing complexity in software delivery, often due to fragmented tools and manual processes.
The collaboration aims to address these challenges by integrating Wipro’s agent-native delivery platform, WEGA, with Harness’ AI Software Delivery Platform.
WEGA is part of Wipro Intelligence, the company’s unified suite of AI-powered platforms, solutions, and offerings. Together, the companies said they will enable enterprises to modernise software development, automate releases, reduce deployment risks, and accelerate innovation cycles.
“Together with Harness, we are establishing a proven blueprint for AI-native software delivery – enabling enterprises to innovate at speed, strengthen reliability, and deliver resilient digital experiences in an AI-first world,” Wipro CEO and MD Srini Pallia said.
The Harness AI Software Delivery Platform provides delivery intelligence, automation, and governance throughout the post-code stages of the software lifecycle. These stages include build, test, deployment, release management, feature management, cloud cost optimisation, and incident response. It also provides continuous visibility into system performance, reliability, and operational risk.
Combined with Wipro’s consulting-led approach, global delivery scale, and AI capabilities, the integrated offering is expected to provide enterprises with a unified and intelligent framework to manage modern software environments. It aims to reduce manual effort and enhance speed, stability, and cost efficiency.
“Enterprises today are facing the AI Velocity Paradox: AI is dramatically increasing the speed of innovation, while leaving the biggest bottleneck – everything that happens after code is written – harder to manage than ever,” Jyoti Bansal, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Harness, said.
Jyoti highlighted that they are integrating Wipro’s consulting expertise, extensive global reach, and WEGA's native delivery platform to help Harness streamline AI software deployment. This integration supports organisations in achieving faster innovation with robust governance and resilience, ensuring reliable, secure, and cost-effective delivery at scale.
The companies said the collaboration will create a stronger foundation for enterprises to scale AI-native software delivery, as organisations increasingly look to integrate AI across development pipelines while maintaining control, compliance, and operational resilience.
