Wipro Ltd began the new financial year with a series of announcements, unveiling a dedicated AI business unit, reshuffling senior leadership and executing internal restructuring across subsidiaries.
The company announced the launch of an AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit, which will operate alongside its services business.
The company in a disclosure said that the move would strengthen Wipro’s position in a “services as software” world, placing it at the forefront of innovation while delivering Consulting-led, AI-powered transformation for clients.
CEO and Managing Director Srini Pallia said, “This strategic pivot further sharpens Wipro Intelligence’s ability to deliver tangible value to clients and drive stronger business outcomes,”
“It positions us to build and scale AI-led platforms at an unprecedented speed and unlock new growth opportunities. By deepening our capabilities across data, workflows, decision engines, and infrastructure, we are well-positioned to lead in the era of intelligent transformation.”
The company said the unit will focus on developing enterprise-grade AI solutions and scaling platform offerings. It will also bring together Wipro’s platform assets, including NetOxygen, CROAMIS, and healthcare and telecom platforms, under a unified structure.
Alongside this, Wipro disclosed changes in senior management. Nagendra Bandaru, currently President and Managing Partner of Technology Services Global Business Lines, will transition to Chief Executive Officer of the AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit with effect from April 1, 2026.
Kanwar Singh will take over as President and Managing Partner of Technology Services Global Business Lines from the same date.
Suzanne Dann, Chief Executive Officer for the Americas-2 Strategic Market Unit, will step down to pursue opportunities outside Wipro, with her exit effective May 3, 2026.
In separate filings, Wipro also informed stock exchanges of completed internal restructuring involving its step-down subsidiaries. Capco RISC Consulting LLC has merged with The Capital Markets Company, LLC, while Cardinal US Holdings, Inc. has merged with Wipro IT Services, LLC.
In another transaction, Cardinal US Holdings transferred its entire shareholding in Capco Consulting Services LLC to The Capital Markets Company, LLC.
The company said the transactions were undertaken “with the intention to rationalise and simplify the overall group structure”.
