I have about 22 years of experience in the field of Analytics and BI. Have been involved in designing BI and analytics architecture for large scale implementations (> 15000 users). I truly believe that analytics if implemented correctly can make a difference in the bottom line of the company as it can help to find the hidden inefficiencies and/or opportunities. As a BI enthusiast I believe data is the back bone of analytics and the old saying of "garbage in, garbage out" still holds true. Here I hope to share my experience and views about the "right" implementation of BI and analytics so that one can maximize the returns and also help its employees transition from traditional BI roles to modern analytics roles.
