The Hyderabad Launch
Hyderabad, like Bangalore, is an IT hub and hence presents huge opportunity for the analytics industry. Being home to marquee technology companies like Microsoft, Facebook, and Google, the city has come a long way. Also, now the city is emerging as the hub for other industries such as pharma, life sciences, global aerospace industry etc, thereby increasing the demand for analytics professionals.
Last year, Analytics India Magazine conducted a survey of Analytics Leaders in India. The survey outlined that lack of quality analytics talent was the biggest hurdle to analytics success. It was evident that there exists huge opportunities in the analytics space and quality talent is needed to bridge the gap. Thus, Great Lakes, being at the forefront of providing quality analytics education in India, is filling that gap by creating more skilled data analysts.
