IIM Lucknow has launched an Executive Programme in data science in partnership with edtech startup Eruditus. The course will be completed over a duration of nine months and will include a combination of online classes as well as a three-day on-campus experience in IIM Lucknow. The programme is designed for young professionals, data analysts, senior management and entrepreneurs who want to grasp the basics of statistics, popular data science tools and applications and other techniques like Excel and R that can help businessmen make decisions.

“Data Science has evolved as a significant career choice in recent times with many fresh graduates as well as experienced professionals switching to data-related roles. The programme from IIM Lucknow has been specifically designed for executives looking for upskilling in the field of data science. The curriculum helps learners acquaint themselves with the concepts of data analysis and the advanced tools and techniques to implement in different business scenarios,” Gaurav Garg, associate professor at the institute, said. 

The premier institute also launched another Executive Programme in Data Driven Product Management. The course aimed to train product managers on Analytics and Design Thinking comprehensively.

Data science has established itself as a prerequisite for taking effective data-driven decisions and insightful business strategies. The programme would enable learners to gain skills to match the current industry demands and to take enhanced business decisions.
