7-Eleven Global Solution Center

Since its launch in 2020, 7-Eleven Global Solution Center (GSC) in Bengaluru has grown into a nearly 1,000-member organisation that plays a central role in the retailer’s global technology and business operations. 

The GCC, led by Malahar Pinnelli as VP and Country Leader, claims to be driving AI-led transformation across areas such as licensing, contact centres, and retail operations. Alongside, it is also developing an AI-assisted software development lifecycle framework that the company says has improved engineering productivity by 30%. 

It owns critical technology platforms serving more than 13,000 retail locations with an attrition rate of around 10%, a 90% offer-to-joiner conversion rate, and 16% of employees moving through promotions or internal transitions last year. 

The GSC teams also lead the integration of store systems, fuel operations, payments, and point-of-sale platforms supporting thousands of stores globally. The centre promotes a ‘find-and-solve’ culture, as the company calls it, which encourages employees to move beyond execution and contribute ideas with business impact, especially through its 7-Othon and 7Learn platforms.
