Parvinder Maini

Parvinder Maini, who holds the post of Scientific Secretary at the Office of the PSA, is responsible for expanding India’s R&D ecosystem, policy formulation for science, technology and innovation, and fostering collaboration between industry, academia, and government for citizen-centric solutions.

She has contributed to several national initiatives, including the National One Health Mission, One Nation One Subscription, Anusandhan National Research Foundation, National Deep Tech Startup Policy, and Regional Science and Technology centres. She represented India’s AI and LLM collaboration interests in bilateral discussions with Switzerland, covering data governance, quantum technology, and deep tech startups. 

In December 2025, she organised the first International Science and Technology (S&T) Clusters Conference, where eight clusters signed 12 MoUs spanning clean energy, AI-driven agriculture, and advanced manufacturing. She was conferred the SAHIT Women Achievers 2025 Award in recognition of her contributions to science and technology policy.
