In the last 12 months, Ajay Vij has led Accenture India’s efforts to help enterprises move beyond AI experimentation and embed AI across their core business operations. Under his leadership, the company has focused on scaling AI adoption to drive productivity, resilience, and business growth, while enabling clients to integrate AI into their digital transformation journeys.

Beyond enterprise adoption, Vij has championed AI talent development at scale through collaborations with industry, academia, and government. He has also expanded digital skilling initiatives through programmes such as Learning to Earning and UNICEF's Generation Unlimited, helping prepare both the workforce and communities for an AI-first future.

Vij believes the biggest shift in India’s AI journey is that AI is no longer viewed as just another technology tool. Instead, it has become a core business priority and an important driver of the country’s economic growth agenda.
