Vimal Kaw

Vimal Kaw is the Country Managing Director at NTT Global Data Centres India, where he leads the company's India market strategy, business growth, large-scale data center expansion, customer engagement, and innovation initiatives that support the country's rapidly growing digital infrastructure ecosystem.

With more than two decades of experience across colocation, hyperscale infrastructure, enterprise services, product strategy, and data center development, Kaw is an experienced leader in India's digital infrastructure sector. Throughout his career, he has led the planning, development, expansion, and product strategy for large-scale data center platforms serving enterprises, cloud providers, and hyperscalers.

Prior to this role, Kaw served as Assistant Vice President, Product & Services (Colocation) at NTT, where he was responsible for colocation strategy, product development, and service growth.

He also held the role of AVP – Products and IT Services at Netmagic Solutions (an NTT Communications company), contributing to enterprise data center services and digital transformation initiatives.

Earlier, Kaw spent more than four years at Nxtra Data Ltd., holding senior leadership positions including Project Head – West and Product Portfolio Head – Colocation. There, he led greenfield data center developments, long-term capacity planning, and colocation portfolio strategy. Prior to that, at Bharti Airtel, he oversaw pan-India data center build programs, capacity planning, feasibility studies, and customer colocation solutions.

Kaw has also held leadership roles at Tulip Telecom, PCS Technology Ltd., and Infotek Software & Systems, and co-founded Tulip Concepts. His expertise spans infrastructure planning, product management, project execution, and business development, with a track record of building scalable, future-ready digital infrastructure businesses.
