NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) and Microsoft have launched the ‘AI Gamechangers’ programme to promote AI-led innovation in the country.
This new launch of the AI Gamechangers Programme is a part of NASSCOM’s AI for India mission and is aimed to recognise impactful and scalable AI-based innovations in the country. Microsoft is acting as the innovation partner for the programme.
According to the official release, with a shared commitment, NASSCOM and Microsoft are working closely to develop and promote the AI Gamechangers programme to accelerate AI’s adoption across critical sectors. The programme will recognise innovators for their successful AI implementation. It will also serve as a platform for startups, enterprises, academia, governments, and NGOs to showcase their AI-based products and solutions.

The AI innovators’ success stories will be featured in an accompanying annual compendium, which will be released at the Xperience AI Summit.
Speaking on the new launch, Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM, stated that with the dramatic growth of innovation and talent in India, this AI Gamechangers Programme would spotlight some of the leading AI-based innovations in the country. Along with recognising their efforts, the programme will motivate the larger ecosystem to leverage this opportunity, making India the global powerhouse in AI-led innovation.

Adding to this, Anant Maheshwari, President – Microsoft India, also stated that a lot of this could be attributed to the cloud led data and AI innovation pushing the country to drive homegrown innovation.
Transformations driven by data and artificial intelligence across industries enable enterprises to solve some of the most critical issues of today. The AI Gamechangers Programme will create a strong ecosystem that recognises and supports AI-led innovation in the country, added Maheshwari.
A panel of industry leaders and subject matter experts will be judging these AI-led innovations based on problem selection, solution innovation, and impact achieved.
