Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS) and French software corporation Dassault Systèmes are collaborating to help manufacturing enterprises accelerate digital transformation across product engineering, manufacturing operations, and industrial value chains.
The collaboration combines Dassault Systèmes' capabilities across virtual twin experiences, product lifecycle management (PLM), digital manufacturing, and manufacturing operations management with Bosch SDS' expertise in contextualised data products, manufacturing transformation, energy optimisation, IT/OT integration, and machine-level intelligence.
"Manufacturing enterprises today are looking beyond isolated digitisation initiatives toward connected, intelligent and autonomous operations," Dattatreya Gaur, MD and CEO, Bosch SDS, said in a statement.
The companies said the first joint deployment is underway with a leading electric vehicle manufacturer in India. Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA Apriso MES platform is being deployed alongside Bosch SDS' manufacturing transformation capabilities to enable real-time connected operations.
The collaboration covers AI-enabled manufacturing transformation and agentic AI orchestration through the Bosch Cognitive Factory platform, along with Digital Thread and traceability across engineering and manufacturing.
Ramesh Ramaswamy, Global Sales Head, Bosch Software and Digital Solutions, said the collaboration intends to help manufacturers "move from fragmented transformation efforts to truly connected, software-defined and intelligent operations."
Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes, said the partnership marks "a major milestone for the manufacturing industry" and would help factories "adopt AI much faster."
The partnership also covers Digital Product Passport (DPP) and regulatory compliance readiness. Bosch SDS will additionally act as a consulting and system integration partner to Dassault Systèmes across the identified transformation areas, spanning engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise operations.
The companies said the collaboration will target sectors including automotive, electronics, batteries, semiconductors, industrial machinery, and consumer durables. It will also extend into heavy engineering and process industries.
Bosch SDS is part of the Bosch Group and provides consulting, engineering, and IT services focused on digital transformation. Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform serves 390,000 customers globally, according to the company.
