Madhya Pradesh is stepping up its pitch to become a hub for semiconductors, AI infrastructure, electronics manufacturing, and data centres. Chief Minister, MP Mohan Yadav held a series of one-on-one meetings at MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0in Bhopal  with global and domestic technology companies that together explored investment proposals worth more than ₹58,000 crore.

The discussions spanned semiconductor fabrication, AI-powered data centres, electronics manufacturing, energy storage, solar equipment, and high-performance computing (HPC), reinforcing the state's ambition to emerge as a next-generation technology and manufacturing destination.

Among the largest proposals came from Submer India Private Limited, which expressed interest in investing ₹19,000 crore to develop data centre infrastructure in the state. Discussions focused on land allocation in the Acharpura industrial area and the development of supporting infrastructure.

Another major proposal came from JSM Datacorp Private Limited, which explored the possibility of bringing ₹11,000 crore in foreign direct investment (FDI) for a large-scale data centre project. The discussions covered land availability, power supply, water resources, stamp duty concessions, and incentives under the state's data centre policy.

In the semiconductor sector, Paras Semiconductors proposed investing approximately ₹6,200 crore to establish a semiconductor manufacturing facility on nearly 50 acres in Indore, a project expected to generate around 7,500 jobs. Discussions also covered power supply, industrial infrastructure, and project implementation support.

Thomson Semiconductors also outlined plans to invest around ₹5,200 crore in a semiconductor manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh, creating an estimated 2,500 jobs. The discussions focused on land allocation, project approvals, and industrial support.

The state also received a proposal from Nyobolt Ltd. (NBAIDC) to invest around ₹10,000 crore in advanced energy storage technologies, AI data centres, and high-capacity battery manufacturing. The company indicated the project could create 1,300 jobs, while discussions centred on land, power, water, road connectivity, and digital infrastructure.

In electronics manufacturing, Arsenal Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. proposed an investment of ₹322 crore, with plans to generate nearly 2,240 jobs under an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) project.

The company sought 30 acres of land along with capital subsidies, electricity concessions, interest subsidies, and additional industrial incentives.

Emerald Infra Ispat Ltd. discussed plans to invest approximately ₹350 crore to establish an electronics manufacturing facility in Bhopal focused on data switches and advanced electronic equipment.

Meanwhile, Osel Devices Limited proposed investing around ₹50 crore in an electronics manufacturing unit expected to create 100–200 jobs, while Fujiyama Power presented plans to invest ₹695.35 crore in solar energy equipment and electronics manufacturing, creating nearly 1,000 jobs.

The state also engaged with Data Oasis LLC (HarmoniQ Data Pvt. Ltd.), which proposed investing around ₹450 crore to establish a hyperscale data centre in Indore over 20 acres, with the project expected to create around 2,000 jobs.

Beyond investment discussions, the Chief Minister also met with NVIDIA Director – Strategic & Business, Ganesh Mahabala, to explore collaboration on strengthening Madhya Pradesh's AI ecosystem.

The discussions covered AI research and innovation, AI skilling, high-performance computing infrastructure, startup ecosystem development, industry-academia partnerships, and the deployment of AI-driven solutions across industry, education, and digital governance.

During the meetings, the Chief Minister assured investors of full government support, highlighting Madhya Pradesh's investor-friendly policies, industrial infrastructure, and fast-track approvals. He said the state is positioning itself as a preferred destination for semiconductor manufacturing, AI infrastructure, electronics production, and large-scale digital infrastructure projects.
