Yotta Data Services has launched a ₹10,000 Free Credits Programme for Shakti Studio, its end-to-end AI development and inferencing platform.

The programme gives developers, startups, enterprises, researchers, and global capability centres (GCCs) complimentary access to build, fine-tune, and deploy AI models on serverless GPU infrastructure.

The credits apply against Shakti Studio's standard pay-as-you-go rates.

They cover the platform's full stack, including serverless H100 and L40S GPUs billed per minute and scaling to zero when idle, OpenAI-compatible AI Endpoints billed per token, full fine-tuning and LoRA adapters on proprietary data, deployment of externally fine-tuned checkpoints, and a Developer Portal for API key generation and console access.

Shakti Studio offers access to more than 25 open-source models spanning large language models, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, image generation, and OCR, alongside the option to deploy custom models on serverless GPUs.

The platform is hosted entirely across Yotta's own Indian data centres, providing in-country inferencing, low latency and data residency.

Billing is in Indian rupees, and Shakti Studio does not add extra invocation or platform service fees on top of compute pricing.

The announcement comes as Yotta aims to diversify its client base. In an earlier interview with AIM, CEO Sunil Gupta told AIM that more than 75% of Yotta’s existing 10,000 GPU capacity was contracted by overseas customers. “The US customers are using this GPU cluster to serve their respective US and European markets—nothing to do with India,” he added.

The programme intends to benefit Indian AI startups prototyping without locking capital into reserved infrastructure, GCCs building for global parent organisations while keeping data within India, enterprises in regulated sectors fine-tuning proprietary models on domestic infrastructure, and researchers and independent developers seeking on-demand access to enterprise-grade compute.
