For Mentees
Anyone can be a mentee at AIM Mentoring Circle. Data Science enthusiasts need to register on AIM Mentoring Circle and select their mentors based on personal career interests.
At AIM Mentoring Circle, mentees lead discussions with their mentors on themes including academic success, preparing for data science careers, gaining work experience, preparing for future education and networking. Comprehensive feedback will be provided by the mentors to support their mentees’ efforts to:
- Define personal challenges or goals
- Determine potential solutions and strategies
- Identify networks of people who can help in your data science journey
- Find ways to engage people in the network.
For Mentors
To become a data science mentor at Analytics India Magazine, one should have at least five years of experience in data science and a zeal to help others with their query in a one-to-one format. AIM Mentoring Circle is an open and free platform, and therefore the success of this platform depends on how well you spend your valuable time in mentoring those in need.
Mentors will have the flexibility of participating from any location at any time convenient to them through asynchronous online conversations. After mentees and mentors respond, automated emails will be sent to encourage receivers to log in and reply. Safety protocols filter, along with block and flag personally identifiable information and inappropriate content, will be reviewed by staff to ensure online safety for all participants.
AIM Mentoring Circle measures and reports on ongoing participation of the program each week to ensure that the desired outcomes and impacts are achieved. With the help of mentoring activities, mentees will be able to develop broad networks of support to identify their data science career aspirations along with the resources and tools to achieve their goals.
