Sunil Gupta

Sunil Gupta has played a central role in building India’s sovereign AI infrastructure through Yotta Data Services. In the last 12 months, he has led the expansion of the country’s largest AI infrastructure platform, providing the compute backbone for several of India’s sovereign AI initiatives while serving demanding AI workloads from customers across the US, Europe, and West Asia.

Since he took over, Yotta has strengthened India’s position as an emerging global AI compute destination by combining large-scale GPU infrastructure with sovereign cloud capabilities. The company’s platform has enabled enterprises, startups, and public sector organisations to access AI infrastructure within India while supporting global AI innovation.

Gupta believes India’s biggest transformation is its emergence from a consumer of AI infrastructure to a global AI compute hub. He sees sovereign infrastructure as the foundation for building AI capabilities in India while serving customers worldwide.
