Srinath Ravichandran

Srinath Ravichandran is expanding India's role in AI infrastructure beyond Earth. He has led AgniKul Cosmos in developing an orbital AI data centre platform by repurposing the company's reusable rocket upper stages into space-based compute infrastructure. In partnership with NeevCloud, AgniKul plans to demonstrate India's first AI-focused orbital data centre, creating a new model for energy-efficient AI computing powered by solar energy in low-Earth orbit.

Building on AgniKul's reusable launch technology, Ravichandran is positioning the company beyond a launch provider by creating infrastructure for the next generation of AI workloads in space. His vision combines aerospace engineering with AI infrastructure, opening a new frontier for sovereign compute built in India for global applications.

Ravichandran believes India has moved beyond consuming AI technologies to building the underlying ecosystem, including foundation models, compute infrastructure, and next-generation platforms that can power AI innovation worldwide.
