L&T Technology Services recently announced the opening of its Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) Centre in Toronto, Canada. This marks the company’s third global design centre in two quarters.
The ER&D Centre based in Toronto will primarily focus on developing digital solutions for the transportation sector, including global aerospace and railway engineering.
In a press release, the company stated that the area of specialisation would span across rail track advanced mobility solutions, defect detection, sensors, digital flyboard, and communications systems.
Moreover, the new centre will mainly cater to LTTS’ Canada-based clients by providing cutting-edge solutions for digital products. It would also act as a nearshore premise for customers based in North America, enabling new-age initiatives in digital engineering.
