Former GitHub General Manager for India Maneesh Sharma has joined LambdaTest as its chief operating officer. Sharma would be leading all the go-to-market functions on this test orchestration and execution platform. The platform is used by over a million developers and testers around the world. Since its inception, the company has run more than 100 million tests and grown business by 300 per cent in the last year. In March, the company raised USD 45 million in a venture round led by Premji Invest.
CEO of LambdaTest Asad Khan said, “LambdaTest is on a mission to make the daily lives of testers and developers easier. We are building a modern testing platform that is suited for the present and future testing needs of the community, and Maneesh’s experience will help us immensely in taking our innovation to the global market.”
Under Sharma’s leadership, GitHub’s India market grew exponentially, taking the count to over 8 million developers along with a strong customer base. He has a professional experience of 22 years, holding key positions at companies like Adobe and SAP. He is also an investor and startup advisor.
