More than 1.2 million developers and over 10,000 customers, including AWS, Cisco, John Deere, Medtronic, Pepsico, and Siemens, have chosen NVIDIA AI and the Jetson platform. The Jetson Generative AI Lab provides developers with tools and tutorials for deploying open-source generative AI models and creating efficient and accurate AI models for edge applications using the NVIDIA TAO Toolkit.

According to NVIDIA, developers are facing challenges with longer development cycles for AI applications at the edge, and reprogramming robots and AI systems for changing environments is both time-consuming and requires expert skills.

NVIDIA Metropolis aims to make it easier for enterprises to implement vision AI-enabled solutions. More than 1,000 companies, including BMW Group, Pepsico, Kroger, Tyson Foods, Infosys, and Siemens, use NVIDIA Metropolis developer tools, and an expanded set of Metropolis APIs and microservices will be available on NVIDIA Jetson by the year’s end.

Isaac ROS is making improvements to perception and simulation capabilities, providing tools for robotics developers to engineer solutions for various applications. The latest Isaac ROS 2.0 release is now available for developers.

NVIDIA also announced a collection of AI reference workflows based on Metropolis and Isaac frameworks, aiming to simplify the development of AI solutions tailored to specific use cases.

New system services and the upcoming NVIDIA JetPack 6, expected by year’s end, will further empower AI developers to stay at the cutting edge of computing.

The Jetson partner ecosystem will benefit from these platform expansions, allowing partners to accelerate their time to market and expand their offerings for Jetson.
