udChalo, a consumer technology company, has acquired Dimentrix, a Pune-based data analytics firm, to enhance AI/ML-driven data insights. UdChalo exclusively serves India’s defence forces and dependents.
Ravi Kumar, CEO, UdChalo, said that Dimentrix would strengthen their agility; adaptability backed with data science to make informed decisions. “This acquisition will bolster our goal of using data and insights to provide better and more relevant products and services to our customers,” he added.

Vikram Roopchand, CTO, udChalo (former CTO, Dimentrix), said, “DeepInsight has found the perfect home. The value of analytics within a B2C enterprise is big; with udChalo, Dimentrix will bring in ML-driven real-time analytics to the travel segment and also provide value to a larger segment of customers.”
udChalo was first established as a travel company by offering special fares and discounts on flight tickets to the Defence. Over time, udChalo has expanded its services to offer end-to-end travel solutions to its clientele.
Now, UdChalo serves India’s armed forces consumer electronics on its platform; it helps in their taxation, pays utility bills, and provides online coaching for Army personnel’s children in preparing for the NEET/JEE entrance exam.
