As Artificial Intelligence (AI) reshapes industries, business models, and the future of work, Carrier Digital Hub India (DHI) has launched ‘trAIl,’ a first-of-its-kind AI Excellence Week & Summit designed to build enterprise-wide AI capabilities, accelerate innovation, and prepare employees for an increasingly intelligent future.
Hosted from June 8–12, 2026, ‘trAIl’ AI Week is a strategic, leadership-backed initiative that reflects Carrier’s commitment to creating an AI-enabled workforce capable of driving meaningful business impact. The programme brings together employees, innovators, and leaders from Carrier’s Connected Hubs ecosystem across India, Mexico, and China to learn, collaborate, experiment, and innovate with AI.
Carrier Digital Hub India is an AI-first Global Capability Center (GCC) that serves as a strategic digital and innovation powerhouse for Carrier, enabling enterprise transformation through digital technologies, data, AI, and future-ready talent.
As AI continues to play an increasingly critical role in driving innovation, productivity, and business growth, Digital Hub India is at the forefront of powering this transformation, with more than 60% of Carrier's global digital talent based in India.
At the heart of ‘trAIl’ AI Week is the belief that AI transformation must extend beyond technology teams and become a core capability across the enterprise. Therefore, it has been designed to make AI more accessible, practical, and relevant for employees across functions, helping them understand how AI can improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and unlock new opportunities for innovation.

The week-long experience combines structured, self-paced, and mentor-led learning workshops, leadership engagement, and a hackathon in a dynamic Battle Royale format, and the programme encourages participants to actively engage, collaborate, and build their own AI footprint throughout the journey.
The initiative is being led by Kamal Sharma, Global Connected Hubs Leader & CSAME CIO at Carrier, who believes that the organisations that succeed in the AI era will be those that empower their people to work confidently alongside intelligent technologies.
“AI is no longer a future conversation—it is a business imperative now,” said Kamal Sharma.
The ‘trAIl’ programme has been structured around three distinct learning journeys, each tailored to different levels of AI maturity and leadership responsibility across the organisation:
- AI Early Trailblazers – A self-paced learning journey that introduces employees to foundational AI concepts, applications, and opportunities, helping them build confidence in using AI in their daily work.
- AI Architects – An immersive, mentor-led workshop designed to help participants develop practical AI skills, apply them to real-world business challenges, and become resident AI champions within their teams.
- AI Visionaries – A strategic learning platform for leaders and decision-makers, exploring AI strategy and adoption, enterprise transformation, governance, and the future of AI-enabled leadership.
The ‘trAIl’ AI Week culminates in a Grand Finale on June 12 in Bengaluru, celebrating learning achievements, innovation outcomes, employee participation, and the collective progress made throughout the programme.
What sets ‘trAIl’ AI Week apart is its emphasis on visible progress and organisation-wide participation from different geographies. The campaign encourages employees to build an AI footprint throughout their learning journey—reinforcing the idea that every milestone contributes to a larger culture of innovation and digital evolution.
