Avataar.me, an AI and computer vision platform focused on spatial visual discovery, announced a $45 million Series B funding by Tiger Global and existing investor Sequoia Capital India.
India-based Avataar, an AI and augmented reality startup, was established in 2014 and provides e-commerce marketplaces and direct-to-consumer brands with a platform called SuperNova, which brings products to life using 3D product evaluation.
Avataar’s proprietary platform acts as an ‘Inside Engine’ powering multiple user experience shifts to interactive life-size Web 3.0, also known as the metaverse.
Avataar’s backend SuperNova platform seamlessly ingests existing 2D product images/videos across categories like furniture, electronics, large appliances, fashion and offers a plug and play front-end integration for consumer visualisation of life-size 3D avatars of products at scale.
